A Time to Celebrate

“Let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer. And let faith be the bridge you build to overcome evil and welcome good.” — Maya Angelou

Turning 82 this year has been a profound blessing, and I am sincerely grateful for my family and friends. Celebrating with my cousin, Gayle at Ruby Tuesday and enjoying lunch with my husband and daughter at Chili’s were memorable experiences. I also enjoyed attending a movie with my friend Barbara—Soul on Fire was a powerful story of resilience and faith.

Thank you to everyone who reached out with birthday cards, messages, lunches, and thoughtful gifts. I look forward to another year marked by gratitude and the continued goodness in my life.

With heartfelt appreciation, I cherish each moment shared and every kindness received. I will always remember the laughter my cousin and I shared over lunch, and the joy of splitting a chocolate molten cake with my family. Your love and support mean more to me than words can express.
